The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has taken a bold step toward amplifying its voice in the digital age as it prepares for its 25th Anniversary (Silver Jubilee) celebrations.


At a meeting held today at the ACF Headquarters in Kaduna, the Sub-Committee on Social Media formally engaged with prominent influencers from across the region, signaling a fresh commitment to digital outreach and youth engagement.

The high-profile meeting was graced by:

  • Mamman Osuman, Chairman of ACF

  • Murtala M. Aliyu (Mutawallen Gombe), Secretary General

  • Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Chairman of Committee on Media & Publicity

  • Muhammad Ibrahim Biu, Secretary of Committee on Media & Publicity

  • Salman Yusuf, Assistant Secretary of Committee on Media & Publicity

  • Mairo Muhammed, Chairman Sub-Committee on Social Media



In a historic announcement, Labama Bagudu, Kamalu Hassan Gaya, and Bilikisu Sarki were congratulated on their appointments as Social Media Influencers for the anniversary celebrations.

The Sub-Committee emphasized that digital voices will play a critical role in projecting ACF’s legacy, connecting with younger generations, and ensuring the #VoiceoftheNorth resonates across platforms.



As ACF marks 25 years of uniting the North, the inclusion of social media influencers underscores the Forum’s recognition of modern communication tools as vital in shaping narratives, strengthening engagement, and promoting the values of unity, development, and cultural pride.

The Silver Jubilee, tagged #ACF@25 and #SilverJubileeArewa, promises to be a landmark moment — celebrating history, leadership, and the evolving role of Arewa in Nigeria’s future.

“No Office Has The Right To Pre-Assign Votes — Calls For Otuaro To Focus On Amnesty, Not Campaigns”

The recent declaration by the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, that  “the entire Niger Delta will support only President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections”  is not only false, it is deeply manipulative, politically coercive, and an abuse of public office.
