Chaos on Abuja–Kaduna Rail Line: Passengers Flee After Train Goes Off Track
A train on the Abuja–Kaduna route went off the tracks on Tuesday morning, leaving several coaches toppled and sending passengers into panic. According to information obtained by the NDMPAI FCT Media Team, the derailment occurred not long after the train departed Abuja at about 11 a.m., heading towards Kaduna. Survivors described the scene as chaotic, with frightened commuters rushing out of the carriages for safety. One of the passengers who spoke to our correspondent recounted the moment of the crash: “It was sudden, there was no warning. People were screaming and running in all directions. It was complete confusion.
